2011 has indeed been a year of crowned goodness. (: 2011 brought to me someone so dear to me, someone who made me realised what love is. I always thought (ok kinda naive) that love was like in the taiwan show, whereby you see some super hot and tall guy who has mesmerizing eyes and tada! everything would work out! But yeah, I realised its not so simple. Love is not just about the love at first sight thing, it also comprises of both parties making an effort to make it work. (yes didn't think about how to make the r/s last, was more focused in the past on the starting part only). Love is about knowing the other party's weaknesses, about making promises to each other, being true to your heart and being open. Its about not hurting who you love but to cherish and love :) These statements may sound simple but to me, I feel like its really the essence of it.
2011 also saw the passing of two semesters at NUS. What seemed so strange has now become familiar and these two semesters have been rather smooth-sailing despite meeting bad project mates and getting bad project grades :/ Thank God for such an amazing CAP (in my opinion) and for carrying me through.
& I'm thankful to my friends who have been with me this year :) Uh, actually not many due to my recent anti-social behaviour but I'm still grateful to those who are still there for me :) In particular, nitta for the company during lunch/dinner and for being such an awesome pillar of support, yilin for accompanying me through all those econs lectures (esp micro,thankfully she didn't pon) and adeline for godly words of wisdom and any others who helped me one way or another. Although this year made me miss kaylyn cos she was in uk most of the time and we didn't really get to see one another so often now and I can't talk/sms her as and when I want and also amy who is away for SEP such that I also can't meet her for lunch breaks and whatnot :(
2011 is also the year my body is plagued with many afflictions, I declare myself completely healed in the year of 2012!

I spent the last day of 2011 with alvin at east coast park where we cycled in the afternoon and then we sat on the rocks and admired the sunset and listened to the sea till it grew dark. I feel that it was a peaceful way to end the year. Thanks <3
